What do the technicians do after the planning horizon?
Dear VSC2019-organizers,
one issue that comes with models that have a finite planning horizon is the question what happens after the final day.
In the VSC2019-problem, this becomes relevant for the technicians: the problem description states that after five consecutive working day, two days must be off, and (at least) one day after four consecutive working days. As far as I can tell, and based on the feedback from the online-checker, we can assume that the days after the planning horizon (say, days "11" and "12" for an instance with ten days) are "off"-days, which means that a technician may work on days 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10.
Is this assumption correct for the remainder of this competition?
Kind regards,
MJG
